Hey Pendragon!
its been an awfully long time since i've written in my blog..
n dis shall be my 1st post for 2010..
lyk in the previous post, all i've been doing is slacking at home..
its da same still when 1st Jan kicked off..
and i've got no resolutions at all cuz currently, my brain's not functioning till JC..
so nothing much..
anyway, 11th January 2010, was da release of O-level results...
god, i was bloody damn scared to death..
i mean, my parents have been pressurizing me abt JC-JC..
dey talk abt it lyk as if i'm a confirmed JC student oredi..
n it seriously pisses me off..
i mean..ever since young, my parents have always been talking abt Junior college..
that i've never heard of Polytechnic [EVER!!!] until i reached mid-year of sec 3..
pathetic rite?
yeah..tt's how deep a parents' influence can be..
n since i wasnt so exposed to it, i've nvr even spared a single thought abt any courses at all for poly..
i'd assume tt my parents will always tink of every one of their children to enter JC..
so..of course, i was shivering in fear...i was afraid tt if i din get less than 20, i'm doomed..
den my form teachers were of no support at all..
at the table for 4E2, both Mdm Saleha and Mrs Sim werent dere!
so much for support..
it was Botox-man: Mr Ang K.S. and Mdm Lee, my History and SS teacher
two of the most dreaded subject teachers of 4E2..
in the end, i gt 2 Mdm Lee..
when i came, she smiled and asked: "So what are you hoping?"
I said: "I want to enroll in a JC. So i'm hoping for an aggregate less than 20."
that's when she showed me the paper, and asked.."Satisfied?"
honestly, since i was oredi in that state of shock..my mathematical mind cudn't process the calculating quickly as usually, and i din get 2 count L1R5 on tt spot..
but i juz nodded at Mdm Lee and went off to confirm...
now, i'm nt actually scared abt telling my marks at all..
i mean..i'm nt exactly very happy abt my marks at all..but i'm eligible for a JC..

E-maths: A2
Combined Humanities [SS/Hist]: A2
English: B3
A-maths: B3
Literature: B3
Malay: C6
Combined Sciences [Phy/Bio]: D7

L1R5: 19
With CCA: 17
L1R2B2: 13
With CCA: 11

so as u can see..dere's a balance of gud and bad..
honestly, i was expecting a solid A1 for my e-maths, but i guess cambridge raised da A1-grade..
n i was surprised tt my Lit, which has always been an E8, was a B3..i felt so happy for tt subject..
which means...i'd rather have British ppl mark my paper than S'pore ones..Haha!!
for SS/Hist, i was hell of a surprised too!
it was such a heart-warming pleasure to tell my mum [who specialises in Hist&SS] tt the subject was one of the top in my list..
i cud reli hear the happiness in her voice when i phoned her right after my trauma..
A-maths and EL was expected, so no shocking comment..
u want shocking?? my sciences are...
during the exam, i noe tt i wud hav maybe grasped a C5 for Bio n a B3 for Phy..
but D7 for overall?? tt's juz major bullshit! i reli din expect THAT for science..
i mean if it was malay..den i understand..
but den i sud be thankful tt it wasnt malay tt was a D7..
everything occurs for a reason..
and even tho my lowest is my Malay, C6, and my sciences, D7,
i reli hav to thank god, Allah S.W.T.
to go to JC, the malay subject has to be included in L1R5..
but if my malay was a D7, den my aggregate wud be exactly 20..
which is nt exactly a nice number..
so i a way..it is a blessing in disguise..
but i tot maybe..my malay cud hav been a better grade..
it only it was...i'd hav mre JC options to pick frm..
n now, its difficult..
altho i've oredi submitted my JAE form online, my mum says tt she has a feeling that i'll end up in Innova JC..
to me, in my opinion, JC ppl r supposed 2 be mre "smarter" ppl than those in poly..
but in the range of JC, Innova wud be considered as one of the lower institutions..

anyway, i'll end my post wif three pictures..
these pictures are actually made wif multiple pictures, one each from one anime tt i've watched, and form them into something lyk a an anime mix..
n since dere's loads of gud anime..i cant fit all into 1 slide rite?
so after forming the pictures on Microsoft Powerpoint, printed it out wif high-quality resolution wif the paper and scanned the document, it turns out as well..PICTURES!!
